Mélodie J. Brousseau

Mélodie J. Brousseau is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with Aspire Psychological Services. Mélodie provides psychotherapy to children, adults, and couples within the Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County area, as well as in the Onoway office.
Mélodie completed her Masters of Counselling Psychology at Athabasca University, with a focus on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Mélodie provides a client-centered approach to her counselling sessions, and works with clients to identify unhelpful thought processes, and develop helpful cognitions, behaviours, and strategies. Mélodie is very passionate about working with concerns related to depression, anxiety, grief, behaviours, emotional regulation, trauma, and psychoeducation.
Mélodie has previously worked with children with Autism, and more recently with youth who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence. Mélodie and loves to volunteer her time working with children, youth, and young adults.
Mélodie is very passionate about providing services to rural and remote areas, and hopes to focus future endeavours on increasing access and availability to mental health services in these areas.
