Registered Provisional Psychologist
Ben is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who provides psychotherapy to adults, couples, and adolescents in the Parkland County and Greater Edmonton areas in English and Spanish.

Ben’s approach is personable, non-judgmental, empathetic, and client-centered. He believes that each client is the expert in their own life and collaborates with them in creating and meeting goals at their own pace, wherever they are in their journey to fortifying their mental health.

Ben has completed a master’s degree in counselling psychology and also has an educational background in religious studies. He is fascinated by the intersection between culture (especially religion) and mental health and strives to be informed and accommodating to clients’ cultural beliefs and practices. His professional background includes working with people with cognitive disabilities as well as individuals recovering from and living with injuries sustained in their workplace.
He believes strongly in people’s right and ability to choose, especially emphasizing how they can learn to choose to engage in thoughts and behaviours that will propel them towards their goals and disengage in the thoughts and behaviours that distance themselves from their ideal life. He looks to empower clients by helping them discover and capitalize on their strengths and uncover solutions to their problems that work for them.
