Autism Assesments

Early intervention has been shown to lead to beneficial outcome. If you believe your child may have Autism, the first step is to speak with your pediatrician or family doctor about your concerns. They may arrange or recommend that your child undergo an assessment to determine whether an official diagnosis can be made. If government funding (FSCD) is not available for your child, please feel free to consult with us regarding private autism assessment.

Cognitive Assessments

Also known as intellectual assessments, these assessments may be requested for academic, employment, or personal reasons. While often part of a psychoeducational battery of tests there may be occasions when a stand alone assessment is required.

ADHD Assessments

Attention-deficit, hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) assessments are  designed to help you recognize and understand the extent to which symptoms such as hyperactivity or inattention are affecting everyday functioning. The may be part of a psycho-educational battery or in some circumstances stand alone.

Behavioural Assessments

Usually part of a psychoeducational battery, behavioural assessments can also be provided independent of other tests when necessary.
